11 Reasons Why Facebook Makes Me Want to Slap You

With notifications, pokes, tags, photos, status updates, wall posts and the infamous stalking (which no one admits to), there is no doubt we have all come across many things that irk us about Facebook. With millions of users spewing their every thought and posting their every move, it’s impossible not to get irritated with the endless piles of useless info and the bombardment of baby photos – and these are just the tip of the irritation iceberg! The following Facebook pet peeves make me wish I could change the “poke” feature to a “slap.”

11. Chronic Status Updates
Everyone has at least one friend who updates their status nearly twice an hour. Twice a day is all right, but when you post useless updates multiple times per day, you come off as annoying. There are things people don’t need to know about you. Unless your updates are super hilarious (not just to you, but to others as well) or groundbreaking, please refrain from the constant need to hit “share” every 10 minutes, OK? That’s what twitter is for…

10. Creating a Profile Page for Your Pet
Creating a Facebook profile for your pet is lame. Instead of making an account for your dog, how about taking the poor thing out for a walk to get some fresh air? Your pet would benefit more from a walk than a “Which He-Man Character Do You Look Like?” quiz. Besides, if your dog types like mine, his profile would just end up looking like this: akjdki92jdsfsdf

9. Name-Changers
You’re searching for a friend, but they’ve mysteriously disappeared. Were they fed up with you and decided to decontaminate their friend list from your infectious presence? Nope, still there, but for some reason they’ve switched their name from Sarah L to “Ess Smileyface Sillycakes Ell.” These are usually the same people who wonder why they haven’t received a friend request in the past six months. Um, probably because no one can find you! No one got the memo that you switched identities, and no one in a million years could guess you now go by the pseudonym “Pedro Sandstorm Six.”

8. BFFs on Facebook, Strangers in Real Life
This is just weird – people who talk to you incessantly on Facebook, but either ignore you or are too shy to approach you in real life. They offer their deepest sympathies when you mention that your pet lizard died on FB, but they won’t even look at you when you pass them on the street. Has human communication completely deteriorated? In prehistoric times, we were once very scared of the saber-toothed tiger so we communicated with each other, and as a group we were able to defeat this ferocious cat monster. But now we’re scared of each other, hiding behind our computer screens, chatting up a storm online while avoiding each other in real life. This is silly. I vote we bring back the saber-toothed tigers. Maybe we’ll relearn how to talk to each other again.

7. Stupid Statuses
Everyone living in your region knows it’s raining cats and dogs right now. Most of us have windows and working eyeballs. There is no need to post it on Facebook. Also, during the first week of September, I’ve noticed that the newsfeed is always clogged with end-of-summer complaints. Yes, we know school has started and summer is over, but the next time you feel like complaining about it, try thinking about the fact that one billion people don’t have access to clean drinking water. So start smiling and go to class!

6. Incessant Notifications
A friend just posted a hilarious picture of themselves that made you giggle. You hit “like” and 20 minutes later, you are bombarded with way too many notifications because people have decided to spark the most interesting conversation about chemistry homework in the photo comments. It becomes extremely annoying as those red flags at the top of your screen pop up like there’s no tomorrow. Keep your comments in the appropriate place, people!

5. Live-Feed Cloggers
Let’s face it, the same people show up on the live feed 24/7. You know, the ones who are constantly growing crops or feeding their cows and pigs in Farmville? Please do not clog up the live feed with obsessive posts about fresh corn and fruit. This is one of the most prominent reasons your friends hide you.

4. Useless Quiz Results
Just because your quiz result told you that you will die in 852 days, 565 hours, 245 minutes and four seconds does not mean it’s true. The fact that you got Snooki on a Jersey Shore character quiz when you are obviously The Situation does not matter and no one cares. A Facebook quiz cannot decide your fate, nor can it predict how tall you will be. Your genes do. Now stop posting useless things and get started on your homework.

3. Photoshopped Pictures
How many times have you seen someone’s profile photo, barely able to recognize the person because of Photoshop edits? Spending so much time editing your pictures to the point where no one can recognize you is ridiculous. People will see you in real life, remember? That’s a lot to live up to. There is no need to airbrush your acne, shave off pounds, whiten your teeth, boost your bust or shrink your bum. Those edited photos are not you and won’t be you. Learn how to love yourself.

2. Everybody’s Business
Once you post something on Facebook, everybody knows your business. Changed relationship status? Yes, everyone will be talking about you. Once you post your intimate life on Facebook, it won’t be intimate anymore. Be careful with what you share! Everyone has Facebook, and certain information about you can be shared with others and stir up gossip. Potential employers could also search you up and see your posts – this could actually prevent you from getting a job. Be careful what you post. A good rule of thumb? If you wouldn’t say it in mixed company, don’t post it on FB.

1. Chronic Relationships Status Changers
(Insert name here) is now single. Thirty minutes later, they are in a relationship. Forty-five minutes, “it’s complicated”. Two hours later, they are single again. Really, people who change their relationship status as often as they change their underwear should either pick a status and commit to it or seek medical advice as to why they need to change your underwear so often. After a while, no one takes you seriously. It’s like the boy who cried wolf. If your relationship is really that complicated, how about taking the time to go out and establish a steady one rather than spending your time explaining why “it’s complicated” on Facebook to 564 of your closest friends.

when i wanna write something, i feel like i have nothing to type about... maybe because what roo said kinda bugged me. So i've been trying my best to change as much as possible about this blog... but... i think im pushing myself abit to hard ... been getting lil' less sleep lately. yeah so im making a point to sleep after i finish this post =)

Oh today i started my training regiment for my body =) Things that i hope will achieve:
xLean-Ness
xAbs
xStrong Arms
xStrong Legs
xLoose Fat :3

Apparently Fad Diets Are a No-No. It'll make us/you/we/they/him/her/them [no 'Me' coz i don't diet =)] store more fat after we continue our normal eating habits. =) my back kinda hurts, legs are prone to chao gan >.< gah... apparently thats what comes when you don't do a slow warm up ><
im gonna do running on tuesday =) fingers crossed that it won't rain =)

Yeah i changed the whole thing
i can't say this is original, i'll have to give a whole bunch of credits to Struck Axiom.
i ported the whole freaking code >< didn't change the background though.... ><
yeahhh its now awesomely will appear when you scroll
im happy it worked, i stay up till 4 just to try to flatten out the wrinkles (ie. the javascript porting)
yeah weii the javascript freaking took up like 3 hours of my time. it kept loading with chinese characters... screwww it. but now i found out i can set the char :3 so its up and working now =D

My broken robot

FL Chan is Image Line's 'adopted' mascot character for the FL Studio (formerly Fruityloops) DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). She was designed as a Fan Character by Uruido, but Image Line liked the look of her so much that they started marketing her along with their software, they even released 'Fruity Dance', which can be loaded into any channel much like a VST. However, instead of generating music or sounds, it generates an animated image of FL Chan that dances to your music. The user can choose from a selection of dance animations.

Awesome Today was just awesome! =D

I went out with Min, Tong, Jenni, Huey, Garfield and Darwin!! to Times Square =D * big toothy smile*

We pakai KTM go there !! =P Tong They all 10 lidat only reach Shah Alam KTM lurh -.- me and Darwin 930 reach dey! (Early rite?) nohh~* its them who is late =X after KTM we use Monorail go Times Square ( i seriously need to copy paste this name -.- the "sq" super bugging me). we walk walk walk then go into Times Square (copy paste-ed =D) we all wan go find Neway KTV damn funny lurh... -.- we walk till the lvl dey then wan ask people where to find Neway then we want go ask someone at one of those shops then suddenly "Eh! there la!" then we turn about like 10 degrees? then squint, straight ahead is Neway dey xD we are awesome rite? then we go inside then sing sing sing =P We order like one Chicken spaghetti thingy then the rest is fish and chips. we sing till like around 12 dey, then one guy walk in, ask if wan take our plate. funny thing is only the chicken come nia -,- then we ma ask for our Fish and Chips. Guess what? only then he told us sudah habis larh. -.- aparlarh so long only come tell us. what sort of crappy service is this? after that everything went kinda smoothly, until when the bill comes. this is creepy =.= we like pay all our share dey (25.3$) then suddenly Tong count count count... *-kurang 20 eh!-* we were like what?? tot we all give liao.. then later the guy like walk in to collect the $$. he count count count... hmm.... kurang 20. then i marh uhh okehh larh i give u 20 larh... then he count count count agian. ehh kurang 5... i was like what? kurang 5? nvm larh i bagi u larh.. then hur they ask me kurang how much ... RM 25 lurh. they were like ehh we all give liao rite? yea arrhh... who else din give? think think think, ask ask ask. all give liao wo.... then we like uh-oh... what if.... quick! zao lurh... *quickly gets out of the room*

then after that commotion we go out walk walk walk coz tong wan find her shop ... then marh follow lurh.. then after awhile Min and Huey say wan go Sungai Way (or Wang *no idea*) then marh walk walk walk to the monorail station there lurh. One the way there we see outside raining worh. Jenni said "aiya xiao xiao de yu ba liao ma~ (aiya, small small rain only maa)" Yeah right -.- walk till monorail station look out.. sibeh a lot of rain -.- then marh cannot do anything lurh... go back inside lurh... then walk walk again " ehh why there like no rain dey!" obviously -.- its the foyer for gods sake -.- but never mind, we went anyway. Laa.... reach dao below there raining... -.- Told u so! then walk walk walk ... Oi there got the (bridge thingy where people walk wan)... We were like AWESOME can go deyy... then we marh cross the (bridge thingy where people walk wan). Goodbye Times Square! (pasted!)

Then when we wan go down from the (bridge thingy where people walk wan *Ha! my new copy paste! too long dey lazy type =P*) we were mobbed? i think by 4-5 people asking us to write our names on this list. i was like * ignore ignore* *stare stare* then Huey went like ... Bu yao xie! ta men pian qian de!!!( don't write they (scam/con/lie?) ur money wan). She went pulling Tong and Min away. one of them some more scold her no manners. screw them! then we walk walk walk... Eh where is xian jie (garfield) arh? oh crap! we went back to the (bridge thingy where people walk wan) to find him. And there he is stand there. we marh curious curious why he slow slow... he said he wrote his name and gave 50$ to that guy (the guy asked for 30) and the guy said he don have change wor then.. oh never mind, keep the change... and Xian Jie was given like 2 pens... funny thing is its not a ball point pen, not even a kilometrico, but 2 plastic pens! and by the looks of it would only attract the likes of children 6 and below... one of them isn't even working! its a wonder if theres ink at all! We were like should we go back there and screw them? and ask for your 20 back? Xian Jie was like never mind lest go on no time adey... ohkehh fine ... we marh go to Sungai Way(or Wang) Then we walk walk walk inside.. notice the place u come out from Giant... the ceiling super low.... if i were to jump i'd hit my head =X

we walk walk walk then Min and Huey go ask if there's the photo sticker thingy shop like the one in Sunway Pyramid. all of them told us that shop cap lap liao (bankrap i think). Then we marh dunno wna do wad lurh... walk walk walk ... abo we go buy shirt larh all same wan =D.... okeh!!.... then we marh go find lurr.. then we reach this shop... i forgot the name liao... outside sell andox 2 for 20$. we mar look look ehh wan buy then they look at the andox then think think .....dunno larrhhh then they go inside see lurhh... Me, Darwin, Xian Jie and Jenni all sit (well not Xian Jie) and watch Tong , Min and Huey go choose baju... then when tong come out she go look look again then .... ehh!! look * holds up an awesome domokun T-shirt*... AWESOME me thinks! then we ask then auntie/che che there to get us 3 S 2M 1L then she find find find got us 1S 3M 1L... then we go try larh... huey and tong look Awesome in S =P Darwin look super sexy in S too!!! but M looks awesome on him but sadly he din buy in the end -.- mana tau one of the M is actually an S -.- misprint much? think think think discuss discuss discuss then in the end Huey and Tong took the Ss' , Jenni and Min took the Ms' and i took the L (yes I'm fat!)

well in the end we go dunkin doughnuts have sumthing to drink then took a whole lot of pictures (of the girls) and balik! it was an awesome day!! Cheers!!! miss u guys >< now i have to go through a whole month+ of hols >< and Yay! to me for write a super long post!!!!! and super long labels =X
