Are we logical? or just plain stupid?

' Humans are the cleverest among all the animals,
the human brain .......(yada yada).....
....we are the most intelligent!!.. '
we hear this all the time
but is it true?
Are we the most intelligent?
or are we just so stupid
that we can't tell intelligence from stupidity?
the history list of human stupidity (if anyone were to list it)
written continuously
will be way longer than our history textbooks altogether!
the number of stupid things humans do is practically uncountable!
for instance,
if you watch America's Funniest Home Videos
it has almost a thousand videos
of people doing funny things.
the things we list as funny
could most probably be catogarised as stupid!
imagine how many videos were received by AFV!
and thats just America alone!
there is over 190 countries on earth
if each country has 10 000 stupid people doing stupid things...
you do the math.
*clicking away on the calculator*
1 900 000!!!
1 900 000 stupid people!
anyways
if we say we are clever
most intelligent
brightest.....(yada yada)
why are there so many people
get classified as
stupid
idiotic
brainless
(yada yada).....?
so you say intellect can be nurtured
Oh fine!
then what about logic?
human has been gifted will the brain to think,
make decisions,
calculate ... (bla bla bla)...
BUT HOW LOGICAL ARE WE?!
not so much at all : (
think of it this way,
politicians say
"we must strive hard for a green environment!
save electricity!
save the fossil fuel!
stop putting Co2 into the atmosphere!
minimise your carbon footprint!"
but in the end?
they send huge number of troops,
gas guzzling tanks, fighter jets, battleships
to war.
how very eco-friendly .....
